Atomize particles with ease
SwisensAtomizer
Simple atomization of particles
Compact design
A particle atomizer always with you thanks to battery operation and a practical transport case.
Reproducible concentrations
Adjustable parameters in the atomization process ensure reproducible concentrations.
Variable use
For generating data sets in the SwisensEcosystem or in use for laboratory experiments and other measuring instruments.
SwisensAtomizer is a compact particle nebulizer for solid and dry particle samples such as pollen, mineral dust and other materials. With its innovative atomization process, SwisensAtomizer produces stable and controllable particle concentrations for measurement campaigns, calibrations and laboratory experiments.
The atomization process briefly explained
The particles are filled into a standardized macro cuvette and swirled up by a vibrating plate. The vibrations can be adjusted accordingly in frequency and amplitude. The adjustable air flow ensures the necessary atomization of the particles, which can then be aspirated by a measuring system. In this way, particles can be nebulized to stable concentrations over a long period of time.

“I speak on behalf of my colleagues who are Urban Observatory Principal Investigators and Research Collaborators from the University of Manchester that we have rarely seen, or been provided with such exemplary support as that provided by Swisens. Swisens customer support has been remarkable given the current situation, from remote training and commissioning to rapid support for hardware and software tools specific to our needs to extremely well organised seminars that actually focus on customer feedback and needs. In particular we have been impressed with the Swisens open source data approach and their attention to different users specific needs. Swisens technical innovations has already generated enormous interest in a bioaerosol-aerobiology community that until recently has been limited with respect to real-world and near real-time detection and importantly quantification of airborne bioaerosol concentrations. Their approach has developed significant rapport with multi-disciplinary researchers and Swisens should be lauded for this.”
